Typically, I will do my donation post at the year’s end. However, this year, the timing of my guest writing invitation for The Smart Investor coincides with A Very Special Walk (AVSW) 2024.
AVSW is a signature fundraising even by the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), or ARC(S). This year it is renamed A Very Special Celebration as Pathlight School commemorates 20 years of transforming lives!
My younger son, who studies at Pathlight School, has benefitted from their programs, teaching methods, and the care and concern shown by the teachers and staff. He has made progress in self-managing his emotions and is taking small steps to improve his social awareness.
I’ve decided to participate in A Very Special Celebration 2024. I will be donating the fees earned from my guest writing for The Smart Investor (June-August) to this event. I’ve written three articles so far and aim to complete three more by August’s end.
