Locus Robotics raises $40 million to go global

An announcement today form Locus robotics states that it raised $40 million which will be used to accelerate R&D and his already fast expansion into new markets. They recently opened a new headquarters in EU.

The main firm leading the series D investment was Zebra Technologies’ Zebra Ventures. They partnered with Scale Venture Partners and some of the existing backers.

Rich Faulk, CEO, affirms that the focus for 2020 will be on strategic reseller partnerships. He believes that — LocusBots — the flagship robot has a place in any expedition warehouse in the world.
