Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy slammed what he called the GOP “establishment” on Wednesday night, blaming it for Democrats’ wins in elections on Tuesday.
“We’ve become a party of losers at the end of the day,” Ramaswamy said at the Republican debate in Miami. He blamed, in part, Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel after Tuesday’s losses, and said she should resign.

“I am upset about what happened last night,” said Ramaswamy, after being asked why he should be president. “I think there’s something deeper going on in the Republican Party here.”
Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur, referred to Republican losses in the 2020 elections as well as the 2022 midterms and said there needs to be “accountability” in the party.
He was joined by four other GOP presidential hopefuls on Wednesday night, as frontrunner Donald Trump was speaking at a rally of his own in Hialeah, Fla. Ramaswamy is drawing about 4% in national polls, far behind Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.
